BONJOUR TOUT LE MONDE
    BIENVENUE 2007-2008
Message from Madame Boulanger, Prof de Français

This web site is designed to support and facilitate students of the new French Program in Cat Island.  Its focus is also to keep parents and guardians informed, to better enable them to monitor the academic progress of the student.  This site will keep everyone up-to-date on assignments and provide valuable online resources. Because this class site is also intended to be engaging, information will be presented that makes the study of French interesting and fun.  A few brain teasers, and current events may be included.  Quite naturally, I would like to include a few links for students to explore a wealth of related information and ideas on the web.

Liberté, Paul Eluard in
Poésies et vérités 1942

Clipart of a pencil; Size=135 pixels wide

Sur mes cahiers d'écolier
Sur mon pupitre et les arbres
Sur le sable sur la neige
J'écris ton nom

Sur toutes les pages lues
Sur toutes les pages blanches
Pierre sang papier ou cendre
J'écris ton nom…

Sur l'absence sans désir
Sur la solitude nue
Sur les marches de la mort
J'écris ton nom…

Et par le pouvoir d'un mot
Je recommence ma vie
Je suis né pour te connaître
Pour te nommer
Liberté
